Pyle Adjustable Microphone Stands (Pair) — Compact Floor Stands
Product description
This package contains two matching floor microphone stands finished in glossy black. Each set includes a weighted metal base, an adjustable steel shaft, a removable boom arm and a plastic mic clip — two of each item are supplied so you can outfit two positions right away.
The stands telescope from about 2.8 feet up to 5 feet, allowing quick height changes to suit singers or speakers. The boom arm clamps on for angled positioning, while the main shaft secures at the chosen height with a twist knob. Threading follows the common USA standard 5/8-inch screw-on pattern for compatibility with most microphone holders.
Built from lightweight steel tubing, the stands combine portability with structural support. The compact metal base is designed to add mass low to the floor for balance, reducing the chance of tipping while keeping the footprint smaller than tripod-style stands. The units are finished in black to blend into studio and stage environments.
These stands are intended for studio recording, rehearsal spaces, small live performances, house of worship and home karaoke setups. They’re easy to carry and set up for transportable use; users who require heavier-duty stage hardware or premium clips may choose to upgrade those components separately.
Pros
- Includes two complete stands with boom arms and clips
- Compact weighted base for better balance in small spaces
- Fits standard 5/8" microphone fittings
Cons
- Supplied mic clip feels basic and may wear with heavy use
- Base is compact — not as heavy as professional stage stands
- Boom arm clamp can be less stable under heavier loads
VerdictA practical pair of lightweight, height-adjustable mic stands that deliver good stability for casual and semi-professional use. The steel tubing and weighted metal bases give reliable support for handheld microphones, while the 5/8" threaded fittings and included boom arms and clips make setup straightforward. Best suited for home studios, rehearsals, church use and small gigs; some users may want

Purchased for church and they work well. Nice addition for choir setup and easy to position.

Good for Casual Events
Solid enough for house parties and informal gatherings. I wouldn’t rely on them for large professional shows, but they do the job for home use.

Works Well, Clip Could Be Better
Stand functions fine but the mic clip wasn’t very durable — a spring came off before first use. I bought a gooseneck and plan to replace the clip when needed.

Unstable Base, Disappointed
The base feels hollow and the stand wobbles easily. The clip doesn’t grip my mic well and the rubber insert seems cosmetic. I’ll be returning this and looking for a sturdier option.

Great as Mic Stands — Handy as Light Stands Too
Affordable and low-profile, these stands are stable and adjust smoothly. I also use them to mount small wand lights in tight spots — they take up less room and feel steadier than the little tripods that came with the lights. Check mounting size for compatibility or use an adapter if needed.

Straightforward and Functional
Bought two for home karaoke. The solid base avoids tripod feet and makes positioning easier. Clips seem cheap but are easy to replace if needed.
