CAHAYA Folding Sheet Music Stand — Portable Dual Floor & Desktop (Blue)
Product description
Reinforced metal tripod legs form the backbone of this music stand, built to support heavy books and stacks of sheet music—rated to handle roughly 11 pounds without wobble. The legs are thicker than typical portable models and finish at the base with rubber caps that grip floors to prevent slipping and skidding.
The unit is intentionally lightweight for easy transport. It folds down compactly and tucks into the included carrying bag so you can move it from home to rehearsal or a performance venue quickly; you do not have to take every part apart to pack it away. The bag protects the stand and makes it convenient to carry on foot or in a vehicle.
This model offers a 2-in-1 configuration: a full tripod floor stand and a detachable bookplate that converts into a desktop support. To switch modes, simply unclip the bookplate from the tripod and attach it to the shorter support foot—no screws or extra tools required. That makes it useful for both standing performances and seated practice or tabletop use.
Height adjustment spans from 27.6 inches up to 51.2 inches, accommodating seated players, standing performers, and most chairs or podiums. The bookplate tilts through about 180 degrees, so you can angle pages for the best sightline whether you have thick method books or single sheets.
The surface that holds the music is vented and has built-in retainers to keep pages from fluttering in a breeze. A small music-clip accessory is included to secure loose sheets, and the carrying bag tucks everything together for transport to lessons, rehearsals, or concerts.
Included with the stand are the tripod base, the detachable bookplate, the desktop support foot, a sheet-music clip, and a protective carry bag. Materials include reinforced metal for the frame, a molded plastic bookplate, and rubberized feet for floor protection and grip. Assembly is tool-free and designed to be done in seconds.
Pros
- Sturdy reinforced tripod supports up to ~11 lbs
- Converts easily between floor and desktop modes
- Compact, lightweight with included carry bag
Cons
- Carrying bag fabric and handle can wear with heavy use
- Plastic bookplate less rigid than metal counterparts
- Some users may need to fine-tune leg spread for absolute stability
VerdictA versatile, travel-ready stand that balances portability and strength. The reinforced metal tripod and non-slip feet give reliable support for sheet music and method books, while the detachable bookplate converts quickly into a desktop easel. Comes with a clip and carry bag, making it a solid pick for students, teachers, and gigging musicians who need an adaptable, easy-to-transport music rest.

Good Stand, Weak Bag
The stand works great and my 12-year-old uses it for band practice without trouble. Unfortunately the first bag handle snapped after a few weeks; the replacement bag is holding up better but shows wear after a couple months. Stand itself is excellent.
