FLYBIRD Adjustable Foldable Weight Bench — Incline/Decline/Home Gym
Product description
FLYBIRD has focused on designing and manufacturing fitness equipment for two decades, with particular attention to adjustable weight benches developed alongside professional coaches and rigorously tested before shipment.
Built from solid steel and reinforced with triple-triangle supports, this bench is rated to withstand a 750 lb load. The frame construction and firm padding combine to give a stable platform for heavy lifts. The seat and back pads use a textured, sweat-resistant synthetic leather that offers a non-slip surface and resists wear and creasing over time.
Safety and locking are prioritized via a deepened lock slot secured by a safety pull pin; once engaged the backrest stays put and reduces the risk of slipping during movements. The bench is manufactured at an IPF competition height of 17.38" to improve reracking and leg drive for pressing exercises.
This model supports full-body training with a wide range of adjustments — 96 total setup combinations via 8 backrest angles, 4 seat positions, and 3 leg-holder settings — so you can switch between incline presses, flat work, rows, and decline sit-ups quickly. Adjustments are made by pulling a support bar to change the backrest and seat positions.
The foldable design allows you to collapse the bench for compact storage, claiming up to 90% space savings; it’s designed to be carried easily and assembled quickly, with setup often completed in minutes. For convenience, some fasteners are pre-installed: M8 x 12 screws are already on the rear foot tube, and one M10 x 95 bolt is pre-installed on the main frame.
Included in the purchase is the bench with pads, frame and hardware for assembly; common tools are provided. The brand offers a 1-year replacement warranty on the frame and 3 years of coverage for parts, plus customer support for any questions during setup or use.

Quick Setup, Easy Enough
Took about 30 minutes to assemble. Instructions mix brief text and photos which can be a little unclear, but following the pictures gets it done. Some bolts arrive pre-installed so check parts and illustrations as you go.

Solid and Practical
Convenient and good-quality for what it’s designed to do.

Small, Robust, Long-Lasting
Slides into my coat closet and I’ve used it 4–5 times a week for over five years with no complaints. Handles loads between 60–225 lb during my bench sessions. Good recommendation for anyone wanting a durable, space-saving bench.

Does the Job, Arrives Unassembled
Compact and functional, adjustment feels sturdy. It doesn’t come fully assembled — feet, locking pin, and foot pad need to be attached. The hardware is very tightly sealed in plastic; two Allen keys and a wrench tool are included. Instructions are mostly diagrams but clear enough; overall what I expected, just not fully assembled out of the box.

Good for Incline and Flat, Decline Is Weak
Sturdy for incline and flat presses, but decline setup is problematic — pieces don’t line up well and there’s essentially one steep decline angle that leaves you relying on the foot bar. Manual seems outdated with some parts pre-installed incorrectly. Also found a small metal shard near a drilled hole, so watch your fingers during assembly.

Built to Last — Years of Heavy Use
Used by two people six times a week for over four years and still holding up — no tearing or pad failure. Adjustments for incline and decline are smooth, and the folding feature makes storage easy. The welds and fit aren’t as polished as high-end benches and it doesn’t feel as rock-solid under very heavy loading, but for the price it’s proven durable in long-term daily use.

Backrest Too Short for Taller Lifters
Back support is quite short — if you’re over about 5'9" this model may not suit you. Aside from that it’s decent quality and easy to assemble. The supplied M80×4 secure pin felt too short for my setup.

Disappointed — Feels Fragile
Feels flimsy, and adjusting the seat takes a long time because you must realign parts manually. Smaller than my previous bench; it looks good but I’ll likely keep it for basic exercises only since I worry it might fail under heavier or frequent use.

Excellent Value and Compact
Practical, stable (seems solid up to 250 kg), and compact when folded. I’m 186 cm and 95 kg and use dumbbells up to 32.5 kg each. The bench can be a little short for overhead dumbbell presses, but otherwise it works very well. Bought one for a training partner too; durability over time will tell (hence four stars for solidity).

Very Versatile
Comfortable and adaptable; folding makes storage simple. My only issue: I’m 1.88 m tall and when the backrest is inclined it reaches near my neck, which is uncomfortable — a bit short for taller users.

Decent Home Bench; Supportive Customer Service
Bought during COVID for home use — not for heavy pro lifting but fine for typical at-home loads. Assembly notes are a bit unclear; be sure to locate two silver pins (a long and a short) and place the long pin under the seat to prevent closing, and the short pin in the back support holes when using incline. Initially rated lower, but the helpful after-sales support raised my impressions.
