36" Adjustable Double-Side Door Draft Stopper — Under-Door Seal
Product description
Size and fit: This twin door draft stopper arrives as a 36-inch length with a 2-inch profile, designed to cover gaps roughly from 0.5 inches up to 1.7 inches. The foam cores can be trimmed to fit narrower openings — common cuts include 30", 31", 32", 33", 34" and 35" — then the assembly simply slides under the door.
Compatibility note: It’s not suitable for doors that sit on a raised threshold (door saddle). Before buying, measure the clearance under your door to ensure the product will slide underneath and seal properly.
Seasonal use and performance: Built to be useful year-round, it helps keep cold air out and warm air in while also reducing light and some noise transfer. The twin, double-sided design fills the space beneath the door to limit drafts and drafts-related energy loss.
Construction and appearance: The stopper combines high-density foam inserts with a soft, wear-resistant fabric sleeve. The bottom profile is fan-shaped and flat on the door-facing side with a rounded profile on the room side, providing a snug fit that conforms to most floor surfaces.
Installation and care: No tools or drilling are required. Cut the foam to the desired length, slide the sleeve and foam under the door, and attach the included oval hook tape for additional fastening if needed. The fabric cover is machine washable. It works on wood, tile, carpet, marble and similar floors and is suitable for front, back, bedroom, kitchen, garage and patio doors, but not for sliding bathroom doors.
Pros
- Trim-to-fit 36" length for many door widths
- Machine-washable fabric sleeve
- No tools needed; includes hook tape for extra hold
Cons
- Won't fit doors with raised thresholds
- Foam inserts may need adhesive or sewing to stay put
- Material quality can vary; may shift if not sized exactly
VerdictA simple, adjustable under-door seal that reduces drafts, light and sound without tools. It’s easy to size and washable, and works well for many interior and exterior doors; measure your gap first, as it won’t work with threshold saddles.

Needed a couple tweaks
I used small pieces of double-sided tape and stitched an end to keep the foam from moving. After that it seals nicely and I’d recommend it.

Big savings on heating
Worked well during the coldest month and helped reduce drafts significantly.

Not worth it for me
The foam feels flimsy and the sleeve was hard to modify without cutting it up. The finished look suffers if you have to alter it.

Pet-proofed my doors
Measured accurately and they fit exactly. Keeps my cats from slipping through gaps at night.

Holds steady on my door
This fabric-sleeved stopper works much better than the plastic type I had before. My door has a 2" clearance and the Velcro keeps it from slipping. I did tape the foam pieces together since they arrive in sections, but overall it outperformed my last one.

Functional but average build
Material is a bit thin, but I like not having to glue anything to the door. It helps with noise when perfectly sized, though it can move if not cut precisely.

Keeps closet floors hair-free
I put these on closet doors to stop my husky’s fur from piling up inside. Easy to size, unobtrusive, and the doors open and close normally while keeping hair, bugs and drafts out.

Does what I needed
Installed inside my entry door where there was a large gap. It blocks draft, light and sound and even hangs on the doorknob when not in use. Family likes it.
