What’s included: complete deadbolt assembly, universal latch, reinforced strike plate with three 3" screws, self-aligning mounting hardware and two cut keys.

Construction and security: Built of premium metal components, this lock features a full 1-inch throw deadbolt reinforced with a hardened steel spinning pin and anti-drill plates. Pin tumblers include anti-pick elements to raise the difficulty of manipulation attacks. The unit carries a Grade 1/AAA BHMA certification for Security, Durability and Finish, reflecting its heavy-duty design for everyday residential use.

Fit and compatibility: Designed for doors prepared with two bore holes, the universal latch accepts either a 2-3/8" or 2-3/4" backset. It supports door thicknesses from 1-3/8" up to 1-7/8" and works on both right- and left-handed doors. The integrated strike reinforcer and long screws help resist kick-in forces.

    Prefer keyed both sides for security

    I upgraded to keyed units so the deadbolt can’t be turned from inside after a break-in. Installed on two doors and much happier with the security.
