3-Inch Heavy-Duty Swivel Casters with Brake — Set of 4
Product description
Reinforced SPCC Steel Bracket: Each caster uses thick, industrial-grade SPCC steel with extra reinforcement in the mounting plate and hanger. The low-center-of-gravity design helps stabilize bulky loads and the assembly is engineered for prolonged heavy-duty use.
Smooth 360° Rotation with Protected Bearings: The swivel units use stainless-steel ball bearings paired with rubber protective sleeves to reduce friction and block debris. That combination produces quiet, jam-free 360° rotation for easier positioning in tight areas.
Brake that Secures Both Wheel and Swivel: Every caster has an integrated lock that immobilizes wheel rotation and prevents the swivel from turning. A single press sets the assembly firmly in place and the release is quick when you want to move the equipment again.
Striped PU Non-Marking Wheels: The wheels are molded from wear-resistant, striped polyurethane for superior grip and quiet rolling. They are designed not to scuff hardwood, tile or carpet and perform well indoors and in light outdoor conditions.
All Hardware Included and Versatile Use: The package contains four 3-inch swivel casters, mounting screws and rubber gaskets for immediate one-step installation. Suitable for workbenches, tool cabinets, storage racks, industrial carts, tables and other heavy furniture; resistant to mild acids and corrosion typical in workshop environments.
Pros
- Robust SPCC steel construction
- Quiet, non-marking PU tires
- Includes screws and gaskets for install
Cons
- 3-inch wheels can struggle over debris
- Heavy — overkill for very light carts
- May require larger size for rough floors
VerdictThese 3-inch industrial casters combine reinforced steel construction, stainless bearings and cushioned PU tires to move and secure heavy equipment reliably. They turn smoothly in tight spaces, lock solidly when parked and include all mounting hardware. Ideal for benches, cabinets and carts that need durable, quiet mobility, though larger wheels may be better over rough terrain.

Durable
Good construction and holding up well so far. No issues with function.

Well-built casters with dependable brakes and smooth swivel
These feel heavier and more rugged than typical furniture wheels. The steel plates are thick, the swivel assemblies are solid, and the blue polyurethane tires roll without the hard-plastic feel. Mounting was simple and they stayed secure once installed. The 3-inch diameter is a practical middle ground — easy to roll yet keeps machinery low. The swivel action makes tight turns effortless and the brakes are substantial enough to lock everything in place. One minor note: the metal finish on my set looked darker and more industrial than shown in the photos.

Made moving heavy gear satisfyingly simple
Putting proper casters on a heavy machine changed everything. This set of four 3-inch swivel wheels with locks is built for heavier tasks and feels solid. The 360-degree swivels make direction changes easy in a cramped shop; when parked the brakes hold firmly. I also liked that the PU wheels don’t mark floors—useful when you want protection and mobility. Great for benches, tool cabinets and shop tables.

Attractive and sturdy but too small for my island
These looked solid and rolled well when tested, but I swapped them for a larger size. My kitchen island had a heavy granite top and the small wheels couldn't move it smoothly, so I returned them for bigger casters.

Solid construction and smooth operation
Really impressed by the build quality. The mounting plate is metal, not plastic, and the wheels are thick and strong. They arrived with screws and a simple guide, and the brakes engage cleanly. Smooth swivel and dependable stopping—good value for a reliable caster.

Top pick for a mobile indoor work cart
I used these on a rolling restoration cart and they went from room to room without scuffing my old hardwood floors. The brakes are handy on uneven surfaces and the set included all the hardware I needed. Slightly overbuilt for a single cabinet, but they roll smoothly and feel like they’ll last.

Sturdy for a workbench but wheel size has limits
Installed on a heavy workbench that moves occasionally — they run smoothly on swept concrete and swivel makes repositioning easy. Brakes hold securely and the low mount keeps the bench from getting too tall. The downside is the 3-inch wheels: small debris, joints or wire can stop them abruptly. If you move the bench often over rough shop floors, consider a 4–5 inch option instead.
