Stainless Steel Double-Sieve Honey Strainer for 5-Gallon Buckets
Product description
Includes one double-layer stainless steel honey strainer with telescoping support arms.
The strainer uses a two-stage mesh: an upper coarse screen rated at 1875 microns and a lower fine screen at 650 microns. This stepped design removes large bits of beeswax and comb first, then captures finer particles, leaving clear, raw honey.
Made from food-safe 304 stainless steel, the unit is rust-resistant and built to withstand repeated use. The bowl measures about 9.4 inches across with a depth near 4 inches, providing a large collection area to handle sizeable pours without overflow.
Two retractable arms extend the span up to roughly 13.7 inches so the filter can rest stably across typical 5-gallon buckets, honey pans, bottling buckets or settling tanks. Use it directly under your extractor or over a bucket to catch debris while you pump or pour honey.
The polished, non-stick finish rinses easily and is dishwasher-safe for quick post-harvest cleanup. Besides honey, the filter can be used with other edible liquids such as tea, coffee infusions or plant milks where coarse-to-fine straining is needed.
Pros
- Durable 304 stainless steel construction
- Two-stage filtration (1875µm & 650µm)
- Telescoping arms fit most 5-gallon buckets
Cons
- Heavier than cloth or nylon strainers
- Not a substitute for ultra-fine final filtering
- Sticky honey can need extra rinsing
VerdictA robust, all-stainless honey filter built for beekeepers and home processors. Dual-mesh filtration removes wax and debris while preserving flavor. The 9.4" bowl and adjustable arms make it simple to mount on 5-gallon buckets or extractors. Easy to clean and long-lasting thanks to 304 stainless construction.

Key part of our extraction setup
We use a three-stage system and these are the first two sieves. They trap bees, wax and debris right at the extractor outlet. No assembly, easy to put on buckets, high quality and simple to wash.
