100-Pack Plastic Hive Beetle Traps — Beekeeping Trap Kit
Product description
Material and design: These beetle traps are molded from durable plastic engineered to tolerate varying weather and hive conditions. Finished in matte black, they blend into most hive interiors and offer a low-profile way to trap pests.
Proper size for efficiency: Each trap measures about 8.9 x 1.5 x 1.4 inches (approximately 23 x 3.7 x 3.5 cm). The compact footprint keeps them unobtrusive while providing enough internal volume to capture multiple beetles or hold attractant materials.
Bumper package offer: The kit contains 100 individual plastic hive beetle traps. That quantity is intended for operators with several colonies or for those who prefer to swap traps frequently during heavy infestations.
Reliable and efficient: The solid construction, straightforward closure, and tolerance for outdoor use make these traps a dependable choice. They accept dry substances like diatomaceous earth or liquid baits, and can be used as short-term disposables or cleaned and returned to service.
User-friendly installation: Traps are designed to be easy to open, fill, and snap shut without spilling. Place them in the upper or lower corners of the hive brood box where beetles tend to congregate. Regular checks are recommended to remove captured pests and clear any propolized slits.

Simple to fill and install
Very straightforward. I add oil in one chamber and a little vinegar in the other. The lids snap closed so no spills when I place or remove them. Cheap to replace when they’re full.

Reusable, catches small hive beetles
I fill to about one-third with diatomaceous earth, wipe clean, and place opposite sides of the brood box. They clean up easily and can be reused.

Reusable once you know how
Easy to open and refill — I missed that at first. I use mineral oil because it won't go rancid. Some traps fill up more than others, but overall they catch beetles reliably.

Good for oil-based traps
I’ve used these for years to trap beetles with oil. Bees may propolize the slits, so check them frequently and don’t overfill or beetles can escape.
