Foldable Storage Ottoman Footstool Bench with Lid — 17 x 13 x 13 in, Grey
Product description
What’s included: one foldable storage ottoman with removable top lid and a bottom insert panel for reinforcement. The unit ships ready to assemble — the sides pop open, the bottom panel slides into place, and the lid fits on top without tools.
Dimensions & capacity: When set up the ottoman measures approximately 17 inches long by 13 inches wide and 13 inches tall. Folded, it reduces to roughly 17" L x 13" W x 2.5" H for easy storage. Inside there is about 43 liters of storage volume, suitable for throws, books, small electronics, magazines, pet supplies and similar household items.
Materials & build: The box panels are manufactured from E1-grade MDF for a firm, stable shell. The top is padded with a thicker sponge cushion and upholstered in grey fabric for a neutral look. The thicker MDF panel and fixed base create a non-deforming frame intended to be fairly sturdy under typical use.
How to use: Use it as a footrest in front of sofas or desks, an extra small seat, a bedside step for pets, a low coffee surface for light items, or under-desk storage in offices and dorm rooms. It folds flat for transport or stashing when not in use and sets up again quickly without screws or tools.
Load & care notes: The construction is built for everyday footrest and storage duties; the maker lists a high load capacity, but it’s best treated as a footstool or occasional seat rather than a full-time adult chair. Spot clean the upholstery and avoid prolonged exposure to moisture.
Pros
- Compact footprint with 43L internal storage
- Tool-free assembly and folds flat for storage
- E1 MDF shell with padded top for comfort
Cons
- Lightweight — may slide on smooth floors
- Upholstery feels basic to the touch
- Not ideal as a permanent adult seat
VerdictThis slim, foldable ottoman delivers surprising storage and useful function for tight spaces. It unpacks into a comfortable padded footrest with a 43L cavity for blankets, books, electronics, and more, and folds nearly flat when not needed. Construction uses E1 MDF panels and a denser foam top to hold shape; the maker claims a high load rating. Best for feet, pets, and light seating or as an under

Fine for a desk, not plush enough for lounge area
It does the job but feels a bit basic. I mainly use it for storage and seldom as a footrest. The fabric seemed a bit like office upholstery and had a faint odor at first that aired out over a few days.

Solid under-desk storage and footrest
Great addition to my workspace — sturdy, easy to assemble, and useful for stashing items. It supports legs comfortably, though I wouldn’t sit on it as an adult for long.

Handy storage and a reliable footrest
This fits perfectly under my desk and holds a surprising amount of cables and gadgets. I rest my feet on it daily and it keeps its shape; good for tidying clutter while doubling as a footstool.

Exactly what I needed
Quick to set up in seconds and attractive to boot. Feels solid for resting my feet and the color matches my decor. I’m thinking of getting another for the other room.

Very pleased
Nice little ottoman with hidden storage. Not built for heavy roughhousing by kids, but fine for adult use and looks right in the room.

Perfect little step for an older pet
I bought this as an aid for my senior cat to reach the bed. It’s the ideal height for a gentle step, lightweight but surprisingly steady. Assembly was simple — open the sides, slide the base in and set the lid. The top is cushioned and the fabric feels durable. It isn’t built to hold people, and it can shift on hardwood, so I added non-slip pads. My cat uses it constantly and even naps on it.

Product did not match pictures
I received an item that looked completely different from the photos — different design, material and color, and even the size varied. I was disappointed and would caution others.
