Oversized Solid Wood Rocking Chair — Weatherproof Outdoor/Indoor Rocker
Product description
Built from solid wood and treated with a protective, weather-resistant finish, this rocking chair is designed to resist outdoor exposure while holding up as an attractive indoor piece as well.
The chair is engineered to accommodate up to 350 lbs thanks to a reinforced frame and a stable four-point rocking base that promotes steady motion. The overall footprint measures 34"D x 27"W x 44.5"H, offering an oversized seat profile for added comfort.
It arrives with the necessary assembly hardware, wooden trim pieces, and step-by-step instructions so most people can have it ready quickly. The surface is stain-resistant and easy to clean—simply wipe with a damp cloth to maintain its appearance.
Versatile in design, place it on a porch, deck, or balcony for fresh-air relaxation, or use it indoors in a living room, bedroom, or reading nook as a cozy accent chair. Available in a classic White finish to match many decors.
Pros
- Solid wood construction
- 350 lb weight capacity
- Easy assembly with included hardware
Cons
- Occasional finish imperfections
- Risk of shipping damage
- Some parts may feel lightweight
VerdictA comfortable, classic wooden rocker that delivers solid performance for many buyers: robust framing, a weather-sealed surface, and straightforward assembly. Expect a generous seat and smooth rocking action, but some units arrive with minor finish flaws or damaged parts from shipping. Good value if you want a traditional, versatile chair for porch or living space when inspected at delivery.

Defective — do not buy
A part won’t seat properly so the backrest feels insecure and I don’t trust it for rocking. They asked me to return it after I paid for assembly — that’s not acceptable. Extremely frustrated.

Poor craftsmanship
Really disappointed with the build. Some wood splintered during assembly and there were visible finish drips out of the box. The screw covers won’t stay in place no matter what I tried. It works as a chair, but I’m not happy with the overall quality.

Sturdy and attractive
Very well made and stable. I chose the large size for extra room and it fits me comfortably. Looks great on my front porch. I highly recommend it!

Not as heavy-duty as advertised
I ordered two to replace older rockers. One arrived with broken pieces and was returned; the other felt too lightweight compared with my originals. I expected a more robust build and was disappointed.

Great chair, minor paint spill
Big, solid chair and simple to assemble alone in about 15 minutes. There was some paint spilled on one area, but otherwise it’s a very good chair.
