EMEET C100 2K Desktop Webcam with Privacy Shutter & Metal Clip
Product description
What’s included and basic build
The package contains the C100 webcam with an attached USB-A cable and the integrated metal clip/base. The camera housing is constructed with a combination of plastic and an aluminum clip featuring small rubber pads to prevent slipping and protect screens. A physical privacy shutter covers the lens when not in use. The cable is integrated into the unit to avoid loose accessories and simplify storage.
Image, focus and mounting details
This webcam records at 2K (1440p) at 30 frames per second and uses a fixed-focus optical design that keeps subjects sharp between roughly 12 and 40 inches. The field of view was tuned to reduce distortion and clutter in the background. For desktop or tripod setups there is a standard 1/4" threaded insert for optional mounting flexibility. The metal clip supports multi-angle adjustment so the camera can be secured to monitors or placed on flat surfaces.
Audio and software features
A single built-in microphone captures voice more clearly than typical laptop mics for everyday conferencing. EMEETLINK software allows control over brightness, exposure, saturation and a 50Hz/60Hz anti-flicker setting to stabilize image under indoor lighting. Installing the software is recommended when you want to correct color shifts or tweak the picture.
Compatibility and setup
The C100 connects via USB-A and is plug-and-play on Windows 10/11, macOS 10.14 and later, and common Linux distributions. No extra drivers are necessary for basic operation; video apps such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet and FaceTime will recognize the device immediately. The integrated design and durable clip make it suited to home offices, hybrid work, distance learning and casual streaming.
Durability and daily use notes
The metal base provides sturdier support than typical plastic mounts, and the privacy shutter also protects the lens from dust and scratches. The fixed cable length and integrated design keep a workspace tidy but do check cable reach for your setup. Overall, the C100 aims to deliver dependable everyday performance with straightforward controls and secure mounting.

No tripod screw
There’s no threaded mount for a tripod, so it only clips to a monitor. Not ideal for multiple screens or lower camera placement. Picture is a bit cloudy.

Clear video; mic works well
Setup was instant on my PC. Video looks clear—better with good lighting but still acceptable in low light. The built-in mic picks up my voice clearly and reduces background noise.

Good 1440p option but needs tweaks
Cable measures about 1.44 m, the base is aluminum with rubber feet, and it has a handy privacy cover. Native 1440p works on Windows without drivers, but I recommend the vendor software to correct the reddish tint and customize settings.
