Cotton Candy Jello Shots
Jello shots are one of my favorite party treats. They’re simple to make, easy to customize, and always a crowd pleaser.
From gummy bear and mermaid themes to fruity and champagne-inspired flavors, jello shots come in endless varieties. These cotton candy ones stand out because they’re not only pretty—they taste great and brighten any dessert table.

If you enjoy whimsical desserts, these will quickly become one of your go-to recipes. You can also top them with a small tuft of pink cotton candy for extra flair.

How to Make Cotton Candy Jello Shots
Ingredients:
- Cotton candy flavor Jell-O (6 oz box). If unavailable, use unflavored gelatin and cotton candy–flavored vodka.
- 1/2 cup vodka
- 1 cup hot water
- Pink cotton candy (small package for topping)
- Vanilla frosting (small container for rimming)
- Confetti sprinkles (for rimming)
- 2 oz plastic shot cups (about 12 servings)

Directions:
- Bring 1 cup of water to a boil in a saucepan.
- Remove the pan from heat and stir in the cotton candy Jell-O until completely dissolved.
- Allow the mixture to cool about 20 minutes, then stir in 1/2 cup vodka until blended. Let the mixture cool slightly but not set.
- Dip the rims of the plastic shot cups into vanilla frosting, then immediately press the frosted rim into confetti sprinkles to coat.
- Arrange the prepared cups on a tray or baking sheet for stability.
- Pour or ladle the Jell-O mixture into each cup, filling nearly to the top.
- Refrigerate for about 2 hours, or until the jello is fully set and firm.
- Top each set shot with a small piece of pink cotton candy just before serving to keep it fluffy.
- Serve chilled and enjoy responsibly.

These shots are festive and fun—perfect for birthdays, baby showers (for guests of legal drinking age), summer barbecues, or any celebration that needs a colorful sweet treat. You can vary the vodka amount to taste or substitute flavored vodka to intensify the cotton candy profile.
