Clear Window Weather-Seal Tape, 2 in x 66 ft — Draft-Blocking Adhesive Film
Product description
Included: a single roll of clear window weather-seal tape measuring 2 inches wide by 66 feet long — enough length for multiple windows or a full-season application.
Materials and durability: constructed from weather-resistant materials that resist water and moisture and endure extreme temperature changes. The tape is engineered to provide both thermal and acoustic insulation, helping to keep cold air out and conditioned air in.
Performance benefits: the adhesive edge forms a barrier that blocks drafts, dust, smog and unwanted air exchange around window and door seams or air-conditioning unit gaps. It also reduces sound transfer and can help improve energy efficiency by stopping heated or cooled air from escaping.
Residue and handling: made from updated materials designed to lift away cleanly when removal is needed, so frames and trim are left without sticky buildup. It can be removed at the end of a season and replaced without lengthy cleanup.
Use and installation: the strip is easy to cut to the desired length with scissors or a utility knife. For best adhesion, apply to a flat, dry, and clean surface and press firmly for a few seconds to secure the bond. It’s suitable for windows, doors, cabinets, shower bases, bathtubs, toilets and other gaps that need sealing.
Pros
- Long 66 ft roll covers many openings
- Waterproof and temperature-tolerant
- Removes cleanly with minimal residue
Cons
- May lose stickiness if removed and reapplied
- Not adhesive on very uneven surfaces
- Some users notice an initial odor
VerdictThis clear adhesive sealing tape offers long coverage and solid performance for blocking drafts, moisture and dust. It tolerates wide temperature swings and leaves little to no residue, making seasonal removal simple. Most users find it durable and easy to apply, though repositioning after removal can reduce stickiness for some.

Holding Up in Hot Conditions
Performs well in hot, humid conditions. Easy to cut and install with scissors, and it’s remained firmly in place so far. Good value.

Seems to Stop the Draft
So far it’s addressed a long-running draft issue. I’ll confirm after I take it off in spring.

Strong Hold but Difficult to Reposition
Very sticky and durable when first applied. If you peel it up to reposition, the adhesive weakens and it won’t stick as well the second time.
