12-Pack Clear Table Corner Guards — Silicone Corner Protectors
Product description
What you receive: a set of 12 transparent corner protectors plus extra adhesive strips already taped to each unit for immediate installation.
Material and feel: made from thick, soft silicone that cushions impacts while remaining non-toxic and pleasant for babies who explore by touching or mouthing surfaces.
Dimensions: each protector measures approximately 1.6 × 1.6 × 1.5 inches (about 40 × 40 × 38 mm), offering generous coverage for standard table and cabinet corners.
Compatible surfaces: suitable for use on wood, metal, marble, glass and other common furniture materials; they sit unobtrusively against most finishes.
Age guidance: intended primarily for use around infants and toddlers up to about 48 months. If your furniture has rounded rather than right-angle corners, consider a round-style protector made for curved edges.
Installation: peel away the protective backing on the pre-applied adhesive, position the protector on a clean, dry corner, press firmly for about one minute and avoid moving the piece for 24 hours to let the bond set. Surfaces must be free of dust, oil and moisture before application.
Temperature tip and transparency: adhesive grip can be reduced in low temperatures; warming the tape slightly with a hair dryer for a few seconds improves stickiness. Because the guards are clear, they keep the look of your furniture largely unchanged while reducing injury risk from sharp edges.
Safety note: these guards dull sharp points on tables, cabinets, stairs and similar items to help create a safer space for crawling and playing children.
Pros
- Nearly invisible once installed
- Soft, child-safe silicone cushioning
- Comes pre-taped with extra adhesive
Cons
- Tape can lose hold in cold conditions
- May be pulled off by determined toddlers
- Not ideal for already rounded corners
VerdictThese clear silicone corner protectors offer discreet cushioning for sharp furniture edges and come with pre-attached adhesive for straightforward placement. They’re soft enough for little hands and mouths and blend into most surfaces, but the adhesive can weaken in cold conditions or when subjected to frequent pulling. Overall, a practical child-safety aid for households wanting low-visibility pr
