Soft-Sided Cat & Small Dog Carrier — Airline-Approved 18×11×11
Product description
Dimensions & capacity: This soft-sided kennel measures 18 x 11 x 11 inches, sized for most cats and small dog breeds. It provides enough floor space for pets to sit, turn, and lie down comfortably.
Materials & construction: The shell is made from reinforced 600D oxford fabric resistant to claws and wear. Four-sided mesh panels give continuous airflow and visibility. A rigid internal frame keeps the carrier from sagging and supports pets that like to perch on top.
Openings & security: There are two access points — a wide top entry and a side door — to make loading and inspections easier. Self-locking zipper sliders help prevent clever pets from unlatching the carrier from inside.
Comfort & bedding: Included is a reversible cushion with a plush fleece side for cold weather and a cooling surface for warmer days. The cushion cover is removable and machine-washable to handle accidents and regular cleaning.
Travel features: A detachable, adjustable shoulder strap allows hands-free carrying for airport and vet visits. Unzip side panels to use the integrated seatbelt pass-through or a luggage-handle sleeve so the carrier can be secured in cars or slipped over rolling bags.
Storage & portability: When not in use the carrier collapses flat for compact storage. Zippered side panels can also convert into small pockets for toys or treats while traveling.
Pros
- Airline-approved dimensions with four-sided ventilation
- Durable 600D oxford and escape-resistant zippers
- Removable reversible cushion and machine-washable cover
Cons
- Soft sides may cave when doorway is open
- Some users report zipper fiddliness
- Not suitable once a pet outgrows the small size
VerdictWell-built and travel-ready, this soft carrier balances ventilation, security, and comfort. The 600D oxford exterior and self-locking zippers resist scratching and escape attempts, while dual-entry mesh panels and a reversible cushion make trips less stressful for pets and owners. It's a solid choice for short flights, vet visits, and car rides for small cats and dogs, folding flat when not in use

Senior-cat friendly
Excellent carrier for an older cat needing easy access. It’s roomy, sturdy, and the features match the product listing. My senior adjusts to getting in and out without trouble.

Stable and reliable for flights
Used this to bring home an 8-week-old Basset hound (about 10 lbs) on a plane. It handled cabin travel well and opening the top and sides was handy. Zippers performed fine and it felt secure carrying him. Also used multiple vet trips. Now that he’s much bigger it’s no longer needed, but I was very pleased with the build and value while it lasted.

Durable and well-ventilated
My cat loves playing in this and the zippers operate smoothly. It’s well ventilated and sized nicely, plus sturdy enough that my big cat likes to sit on top and it holds his weight. When collapsed I simply pop it back upright for use.

Lovely carrier for my toy poodle
My poodle goes in and out freely as I try to acclimate her before a flight. The carrier is solidly made with a removable, washable pad. Mesh on all sides (including the top) keeps air moving. I chose purple and the color is vibrant. The zippers require care to avoid catching material, but otherwise work well. Size is roomy for my small poodle.

Nice bedding but top zipper issue
After a few uses I discovered the top-load zipper was stitched to the opposite fabric, making the top unusable. I can’t remove the stitching without damage and wish I noticed before returns ended. Zippers aren’t very smooth, and the advertised self-locking feature wasn’t obvious to me. The included bedding is a plus for a firm floor.

Ideal for tiny pups
Great fit for my 6 lb Shih Tzu — it tucks perfectly between the front seats when secured. I used it from day one and the see-through zippers let me keep an eye on her. I added a small mat and blanket for extra padding; pink color is cute. Would be nice to have an extra pocket attached.

Perfect for traveling with our puppy
I bought the pink version and it’s both cute and practical. Lightweight to carry and roomy enough for my small dog to sit and turn. Mesh sides give excellent airflow and visibility so she isn’t anxious. The top and side openings made getting her in and out simple, and it folds down flat when not in use. Overall very sturdy and travel-friendly.

Spacious — great for Charlie
Very roomy for my 13 lb Siberian, who surprisingly hops in even when reluctant. It’s easy to load her and I’m happy with the purchase for the cost. My only gripe is the front door doesn’t keep a rigid shape when open, so it caves in where a solid frame would help if she wants to sit with the flap down.
