PetLab Co. Probiotic Chews for Dogs — 30 Soft Pork-Flavored Chews
Product description
A soft, pork-flavored probiotic chew made for adult dogs, supplied in a 30-count jar. Each chew delivers a multi-strain probiotic formula designed to support gut flora, immune response and skin health. The formulation includes eight distinct probiotic strains alongside prebiotic Inulin and a pumpkin ingredient to aid regularity and help with occasional diarrhea or constipation.
The chews are intended to be given daily; dosage varies by body weight and may require one or more chews per day depending on your dog's size and needs. They are chewable, soft in texture, and created to be appetizing so most dogs accept them readily either by hand or mixed into food.
Manufactured in the United States under NASC-recognized practices, the product uses ingredients sourced from both domestic and international suppliers. The company emphasizes quality control and clinical-style research to support its claims.
Customer feedback collected in September 2025 showed that a large majority of regular users reported noticeable benefits within about three months of consistent use (survey sample n=307). The brand positions this item as part of a daily wellness routine for dogs prone to skin irritation, yeast-related issues, seasonal sensitivities and digestive disturbances.
The jar size (30 soft chews) makes it straightforward to track monthly use, though dogs on higher doses will consume a jar more quickly. Keep out of reach of children and store in a cool, dry place to preserve potency.
Pros
- Multi-strain probiotic plus prebiotic and pumpkin
- Palatable soft chew most dogs accept
- Made in USA and NASC-recognized manufacturing
Cons
- Only 30 chews per container — may run out quickly for larger dogs
- Can be expensive for multi-dog households or high-dose regimens
- Contains sweeteners/fillers some owners avoid
VerdictA well-formulated canine probiotic chew that combines eight probiotic strains with prebiotics and pumpkin. Many owners report improvements in itchiness, paw licking and tummy troubles when given consistently. Packaging is a 30-chew jar designed for daily use, but higher-dose needs for larger dogs can make ongoing use costly. Good manufacturing standards (NASC certified, U.S. production) and rapid

Dog enjoys them; still testing benefits
The seller shipped quickly and the chews are well made. My dog likes them and we’re using them daily, but it’s too soon to judge how much they help his symptoms.

Scratch reduction within days
I didn't expect quick results, but by day two my dog's scratching dropped roughly 10–15% and continued to improve after that.

Noticeable improvement fast
I started giving these to my border terrier mix after he got worse with head shaking and paw licking. Improvement was visible within a day, and the yeasty odor on his feet reduced. The only downside is I have to give two per day, which adds up cost-wise.

Two weeks in with no benefit yet
After two weeks I haven't noticed any reduction in my dog's itching, paw licking or biting. I’ll finish the jar but so far it’s actually a bit worse.

Gave great results for three dogs
I have three small dogs: one had weekly vomiting and two were chronic paw lickers. On the second jar the vomiting stopped and one licker quit entirely while the other improved a lot. I dose half chews once a day to stretch it, and they’re doing very well.

Helped my tiny yeasty dog
My chihuahua was very itchy and had red, irritated paws. After using these again I saw less inflammation in a day and her ears improved too. This has been a real help for her itchiness — highly recommend.

Surprised — actually helped
My Maltipoo had constant ear scratching and whimpering. Vet drops only helped briefly. I was skeptical about a probiotic, and the chew is a bit sugary, but after trying everything else I gave it a go. About 90% relief — much less crying and I stopped using the drops.

Tasty but didn’t stop scratching
My dog loves the flavor and seeks the chew out, and I think it helped his digestion. However, it didn’t halt his scratching at all, so for the price I won’t buy again just for itch relief.

Subscription billing issues — caution
I set up a recurring order and cancelled the subscription, but shipments and charges kept arriving monthly at a much higher charge than expected. Company support was unhelpful. Product may work, but be very careful with auto-renewal settings.

Dosage makes supply misleading
Because dosage depends on weight, an 80 lb dog needs three chews daily so the jar only lasts around two weeks. It helped my dog's dry nose, but my dog didn’t adore the taste so I had to hide it in treats.

Slow start, then better mood
Delivered fast. Initially I saw no big change and thought they were just an expensive treat. After a follow-up order and a few more days, my dog's mood and general condition improved noticeably and I'm glad I tried again.

Works, but pricey for two dogs
Both dogs had allergies and recurring ear issues; results started before the jar was finished and looked great. The problem is dose: both need two per day and the 30-count runs out fast. Quality is good, but long-term cost is a real concern.
