Billet Aluminum 35.5mm Non‑Vented Fuel Cell Cap — 6‑Hole
Product description
This cap is machined from high‑quality aluminum alloy to provide a tougher, longer‑lasting alternative to stamped or molded plastic fuel caps. The package includes the billet cap and a rubber gasket to help ensure a tight seal when installed.
The central opening measures 35.5mm ID, and the distance between the two mounting screw holes is 2.5 inches, matching common 6‑hole filler patterns. The flange has six mounting holes and is intended for use on fuel cells, surge tanks, and compatible filler assemblies.
The surface is anodized for improved corrosion and wear resistance. Important: this version is non‑vented, so it will not provide tank venting. If you have questions about fitment or installation, reach out to the seller for assistance.
Pros
- Durable billet aluminum construction
- Anodized finish resists corrosion
- Fits 35.5mm ID with 6‑hole mounting pattern
Cons
- Non‑vented design
- Requires precise alignment for correct sealing
- Seal fit may vary between units
VerdictA robust, machined replacement for fragile plastic filler caps — ideal for surge tanks and fuel cells requiring a 35.5mm ID, 6‑hole flange. The anodized aluminum body resists corrosion and the supplied rubber gasket helps create a secure seal. Note that this model is non‑vented; alignment and seal fit are important for proper operation.

Seals well, good replacement
Seal fits nicely and the cap matches my replacement kit.

Central bolt spins; cap won't release
Looks fine but won’t operate: the center stud turns freely inside the rubber lock so the internal tabs never align and the cap won’t pull out. I had to order another.
