150W LED Dimmable Photography Bulb — E27, 2700–6500K
Product description
What’s included: one 150W-equivalent LED photography bulb and one infrared remote control (batteries not supplied).
Construction and size: The lamp is built with an ABS shell and measures roughly 5 × 5.9 inches, with a standard E27 screw base that fits most softboxes, photo umbrellas and lamp sockets. Handle with care and avoid touching the bulb immediately after switching off power.
Light output and controls: The bulb produces adjustable color temperatures from 2700K (warm) to 6500K (cool), selectable across three color modes. Brightness is dimmable so you can fine-tune illumination levels for different shooting setups. Many softbox fixtures can also change modes via their own controls when compatible.
Performance and efficiency: Rated for long service life (over 50,000 hours) and designed to deliver high lumen output while using comparatively little energy, providing a cost-effective lighting solution for both hobbyists and professionals.
Applications: Intended for use in portrait studios, product photography, content creation, and on-location shoots. The compact footprint and E27 compatibility make it simple to swap into existing lighting rigs.
Pros
- Wide 2700–6500K color range for flexible white balance
- Remote dimming and mode control for quick adjustments
- Standard E27 fit and compact size for easy setup
Cons
- Remote requires batteries (not included)
- Remote functionality may be sensitive or fail
- May need multiple units for even studio coverage
VerdictA versatile, energy-conscious studio light that delivers broad, adjustable illumination for portraits, product shots, and content creation. The wide color-temperature range and remote dimming make it easy to match ambient light and shape shadows. Solid construction and long rated life, though remote reliability and battery provision are considerations.

Remote failed after a day
The bulb worked fine but the remote stopped responding after one day. I checked the batteries. The features are useful but unusable without a working remote.

Perfect for clinical before-and-after shots
I take patient photos and disliked the harsh white lamp my softbox came with. This bulb’s three temperatures let me capture more natural tones. I stick to one setting per session for consistency; when my softbox lacks a selector I cycle power to reach the desired color. Works very well for clinical documentation.

Unobtrusive, reliable studio illumination
This light blends into the background of a workspace and simply performs. Setup was straightforward and the beam is even across my shooting area. The remote lets me move from warmer to cooler light quickly so the fixture adapts to the task rather than the other way around.

Great multi-light setup for my studio
I bought several of these for studio use and they’ve been dependable. The new remotes let you dim up and down and switch warm, cool or neutral tones. They go from low output up to full brightness and include simple power and auto controls. Use with softboxes for best results. I’ve replaced one after a long run, but overall they perform well and come with wireless remotes.
