Fast-acting ice melter designed to remove snow and packed ice from driveways, sidewalks and steps for safer winter walking surfaces.
Formulated as durable pellets in a visible blue tint to make coverage obvious and reduce overuse. Packaged in a 50-pound bag sized for easy handling and repeated seasonal applications.
A blended chloride mix of calcium, magnesium and sodium provides broad melting power and good heat distribution, extending effective performance into very cold conditions (down to approximately -25°F).
Intended for routine spreading across outdoor surfaces such as concrete, asphalt and walkways. The pellet format works with hand spreaders or scoops and the blue dye marks where product has been placed.
Manufactured to limit damage to hardscapes and plantings compared with some harsher compounds, while also being formulated to be easier on paw pads when used responsibly and cleaned from pets after exposure.

Does what it’s supposed to
Melts ice just as advertised. The only minor downside was tracking blue prints into the house, but that’s easy to clean and expected from a dyed product.

Effective but watch the labeling
Worked very well where I used it, but I thought it was explicitly labeled pet-safe and didn’t see that on the bag, so I only applied it where my animals wouldn’t go. The delivery left the box wet and a bit damaged, and the bag is heavy to carry. The bright blue crystals make coverage easy to check. If you don’t have pets, it’s a solid option.

Most effective I've used
I've tested several deicers and this one outperforms the rest. In my region some salts barely work unless temps are mild, but these pellets start where others stop. I noticed I used noticeably less product than alternatives and it kept working into the next day if residue remained. It’s not cheap, but it saved me from more sanding and fiddly reapplications and gave quicker results overall.

Strong melting blend
A robust mix of magnesium, sodium and calcium chlorides. Works fast even in the teens and the blue dye makes it simple to see where you’ve applied more product.
