These vegan and paleo Chocolate Mousse Stuffed Strawberries are charming, simple to prepare, and make a healthy, delicious dessert for Valentine’s Day or any special occasion.

For me, special meals are about the whole dining experience rather than an oversized dessert. When I want a sweet finish, I prefer a small bite or two. That idea led to this recipe: a playful twist on classic chocolate-covered strawberries, with the chocolate mousse piped inside each berry.
The mousse uses ripe avocado as its base, producing a creamy, rich texture that tastes indulgent while keeping the treat wholesome. The result is Paleo Chocolate Mousse Stuffed Strawberries — adorable, satisfying, and surprisingly healthy.

A piping bag makes it easy to fill the strawberries neatly and achieve pretty peaks, but if you don’t have one, a small spoon or the tip of a knife will work — then conceal any imperfections with toppings. I topped mine with a mix of shredded coconut flakes, chopped almonds, chopped goji berries, and chocolate chips. The crunch from nuts pairs especially well with the creamy mousse and tart strawberries, so I recommend including them if possible.
These stuffed strawberries can be prepared ahead of time and refrigerated until serving, making them a convenient, bite-sized dessert that’s ready whenever you are.
