Filtration performance - The filter uses a dense coconut shell carbon block with a 0.5-micron outer layer to reduce chlorine taste and odor, THMs, VOCs, sediments and other common contaminants. Independent lab testing has evaluated the carbon block for heavy metals, large particulates and additional impurities.
Materials and construction - Built from food-grade, BPA-free components and activated coconut shell carbon, the design combines a fine outer sediment barrier with a solid carbon core to improve water clarity and taste while meeting material safety standards.
