BCW Short Comic Storage Bin — Black, Holds 150 Comics
Product description
Capacity and dimensions: Designed to accommodate approximately 150 standard-size comics, this short bin measures 12.25 x 8.625 x 16.5 inches when assembled. Its compact footprint saves shelf space while holding a substantial run of issues.
Materials and construction: Constructed from heavy-duty, acid-free plastic, the bin is intended to preserve comics without introducing damaging chemicals. The snap-together panels form a rigid container that resists bending and wear.
Stacking and stability: The unit is engineered to stack neatly — up to six bins high — with interlocking edges that help keep stacked rows stable. Sliding locks and secure panel connections add extra protection against accidental opening.
Organization features: Each bin includes a single movable partition so you can divide interiors to suit runs, single issues, or themed groupings. An identification slot on the front accepts index cards and compatible top-loader labels for easy cataloging.
Usage and assembly: Assembly is tool-free and straightforward: panels snap into place and the base slots in to complete the box. A locking lid helps keep dust and moisture out during storage or transit. Ideal for home collections, short-term transport, and compact archival shelving.
Pros
- Acid-free heavy-duty plastic construction
- Stacks securely up to six units
- Includes movable divider and ID slot
Cons
- Only one divider included per bin
- Gets heavy when fully loaded
- Higher cost than cardboard boxes
VerdictSolid, protective storage designed for collectors who want a long-lasting alternative to cardboard. It’s sturdy, stackable, and keeps comics secure, though you’ll get only one divider per bin and it becomes heavy when filled.

Good for short runs
Sturdy and protective, though bagged-and-boarded issues may reduce capacity. Use dividers to prevent slumping. Heavy when full but easy to assemble and stack.

Better than cardboard long boxes
Used it for a while — much sturdier than cardboard. Holds about 150, lid helps keep out dust, clean look, and handles make moving easier. Pricier but worth it for protection.

Collector’s favorite
Really great for comic storage. Simple to assemble, solid feel, dividers lock in place, stackable and the lid can be secured. Will use these as my main storage.

Sturdy and dependable
Has kept my comics safe and secure. Very solid and snaps together easily. I wish each bin included two dividers instead of one.

Solid build and easy stacking
Ordered several. Assembly is straightforward once corners are snapped; alternate comic orientation to fit more without damage. Lid lock keeps things closed.

Fantastic product, disappointing fulfillment
The bins themselves are excellent — sturdy, attractive, and long-lasting. My problem was with order fulfillment: I received only one unit of a two-pack and the replacement process was needlessly difficult.

Works better than cloth boxes
Needed something sturdier; this fits TBPs and some hardcovers better than cloth boxes. Glad a set of five fit my collection.
