White Chocolate Cookies and Cream Fudge Recipe

Some may say it’s a little early for holiday baking, but creamy fudge is delicious any time of year.

White Chocolate Cookies & Cream Fudge

I usually think of fudge as a pre-Christmas treat, yet this white chocolate cookies & cream fudge proves it belongs on the dessert table year-round.

This recipe started as an adaptation from a great blog I follow, and I made a few tweaks to keep it simple: no candy thermometer, no baking, just a handful of pantry ingredients for a rich, creamy fudge with crunchy cookie pieces.

This no-bake white chocolate cookies & cream fudge delivers a soft, vanilla-forward vanilla flavor studded with Oreo cookie pieces. It slices cleanly and keeps well in the freezer, making it a convenient homemade treat or gift.

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup additional white chocolate chips, reserved (or any chocolate chips you prefer)
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 3 cups Oreo cookies, coarsely chopped
  • 1–2 tablespoons reserved Oreo crumbs, optional for dusting
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract (adjust to taste)

Directions

  1. Line a 9 x 9-inch pan with foil or parchment and lightly grease it.
  2. Combine 2 1/4 cups white chocolate chips and the sweetened condensed milk in a saucepan over low heat. Stir frequently until the chocolate melts and the mixture is smooth. Avoid high heat so the chocolate does not scorch.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Add the chopped Oreos and gently fold until evenly distributed. Coarser pieces will keep the finished fudge whiter in appearance; very fine crumbs will darken the mixture slightly.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Lightly press the reserved 1/2 cup of white (or dark) chocolate chips on top and sprinkle with reserved Oreo crumbs if desired.
  6. Place the pan in the freezer for at least two hours to fully set. Remove, slice, and serve at room temperature. Store extras in the refrigerator or freezer—this fudge keeps well for weeks in cold storage.

Notes and tips

  • For the whitest-looking fudge, avoid over-chopping the Oreos. Fine crumbs can tint the white chocolate grayish; the flavor is the same, but larger cookie bits preserve the contrast.
  • To make a vegan version, try dairy-free white chocolate chips and a thick, sweetened coconut condensed milk substitute. Oreos are often accidentally vegan, but always check the packaging.
  • For gluten-free fudge, use certified gluten-free sandwich cookies and verify that all other ingredients are labeled gluten-free.
  • This recipe is forgiving and user-friendly—no thermometer or precision cooking required—making it ideal for cooks who prefer simple, reliable dessert recipes.

White Chocolate Cookies & Cream Fudge

This fudge texture stays soft thanks to the sweetened condensed milk; it won’t freeze rock-hard even after storage. At warm room temperatures it can get slightly soft around the edges, so keep slices chilled until serving in hot weather.

The finished flavor is reminiscent of popular cookies-and-cream candy bars but brighter and more vanilla-forward. The pronounced vanilla and the soft fudge texture set this version apart from a crunchy candy bar.

Recipe variations are easy: swap in different cookie flavors, use dark chocolate chips on top for contrast, or experiment with mix-ins like chopped nuts or dried fruit for texture. Just keep the base ratio of white chocolate to sweetened condensed milk for reliable results.
