Hooray! Spring is right around the corner, and I’m joining seven other bloggers to share fresh, fun Spring party ideas in our Spring Party Blog Hop.

I love spring — birds chirping, flowers blooming, and my favorite holiday, Easter. Over the next two weeks I’ll be sharing several spring party posts and tutorials. This post is part of the Spring Party Blog Hop, so be sure to scroll to the bottom to visit the other parties.

I spotted paper plates, a table runner, and matching napkins at Walmart and decided to build the party palette around their soft pastels and plaid pattern. I adore pastels for spring, and plaid is my weakness.

The plates included a pop of gold, so I echoed that metallic accent throughout the party. I added gold lettering to the chair backs using my Cricut Maker. The cut file I used is available in Cricut Design Space.

I made a spring party banner from the same gold paper with my Cricut, which helped tie the look together and add a little shine.

For the menu, we served a variety of finger sandwiches — simple, elegant, and perfect for mingling.

A crisp green salad provided a fresh, light option to balance the sandwiches.

To drink, we served fresh lemonade — a classic, crowd-pleasing choice on a warm spring day.

For dessert I made one of my party staples, cheesecake-flavored pudding shooters. They’re easy to assemble and always popular.

We also enjoyed cupcakes. I found pretty cupcake boxes that doubled as favor packaging, and I’ll share a tutorial soon on how I decorated them.

The centerpiece was a simple arrangement of fresh flowers placed in a gold basket, which reinforced the party’s color story.

I also made a wreath from a hula hoop wrapped in floral tape, finished with a garland and a cluster of faux flowers in the center — a cheerful backdrop for photos.
