Muslin Swaddle Blankets — Bamboo-Cotton Receiving Squares (6-Pack)
Product description
What’s included: a set of six muslin receiving blankets, each measuring 70 x 70 cm.
Materials & feel: The fabric is a 70/30 blend—70% viscose derived from bamboo and 30% cotton—chosen for a silky, lightweight hand that is gentler than many plain cotton options. The weave is open and breathable, designed to be kind to delicate skin and to become softer after repeated washing.
Safety & standards: These muslin squares meet the OEKO-TEX Standard 100 requirements, assuring you the textiles have been tested for harmful substances and are suitable for baby use.
Care instructions: Wash by hand or in a machine on cold with a mild detergent. To maintain shape and softness, either lay flat to dry or tumble dry on low heat. The fabric dries quickly, making the set ready for frequent day-to-day use.
Uses & versatility: At 70 x 70 cm these blankets work as receiving blankets, burp cloths, light swaddles for very small newborns, nursing covers, stroller or car seat shades, changing pad covers, mini crib sheets, picnic or tummy-time mats and quick cleanup cloths. Their thin, breathable nature makes them perfect for warmer weather or layering.
Pros
- Very soft bamboo-viscose and cotton blend
- Lightweight, breathable and quick-drying
- Multiple uses around baby care
Cons
- Smaller than many standard swaddles
- Quite thin and somewhat sheer
- Not roomy enough for older infants
VerdictThese bamboo-cotton muslin squares are very soft, airy and multiuse — ideal for burping, nursing, stroller shade and light swaddling for very small infants. Expect them to be thinner and on the smaller side for full swaddles; great for parents who need breathable, fast-drying cloths but not for older babies needing full coverage.

Lightweight and soft
I prefer muslin swaddles and these are soft and very light. Good quality and gentle — I would buy again.

Too sheer
Adorable designs but very thin — almost see-through.

Exactly what I wanted
Lightweight, soft fabric with a pretty pattern. Looking forward to using them for my baby girl.

Not a true swaddle
They’re cute but not swaddles — too small and basically a thin square of cloth. I felt misled by the description.

Too small for full swaddling
They look lovely but are much too small to wrap a baby fully; I expected larger and ended up returning them.

Soft but small
Comfortable, washable baby blanket but on the smaller side.

Not useful for wrapping a baby
Because of the tiny size, they don’t work for wrapping a baby. Too small to be worth it for that purpose.

Pretty and useful as burp cloths
Nice prints and very handy as burp cloths — my daughter plays with them during meals. They can swaddle tiny newborns but feel a bit too thin for secure wrapping. Great to tuck on a diaper bag.

Super soft, everyday essential
Picked these up for my newborn and they became daily essentials. Fabric is airy and gentle, gets softer with washes, and works for swaddling very small babies, shade, burping and quick cleanups.

Good fabric, smaller than expected
Material feels nice but the squares are too small to swaddle an infant completely.

Soft and breathable, but outgrown quickly
Very soft and airy so breathing isn’t obstructed. Size is fine at first but starts to feel small around four months.

Very small — check measurements
They’re small; check the size. They seem to cover a face area more than the whole body, so better for small tasks than full wrapping.

Lovely but could be larger
Beautiful and very soft, but I wish each square were a little bigger.
