JBL Clip 4 Portable Bluetooth 5.1 Clip-On Speaker — Teal
Product description
What’s included: the Clip 4 speaker and a USB-C charging cable. The unit arrives ready to pair and play, no extra straps required.
Design and materials: The Clip 4 has an oval, palm-friendly profile wrapped in colorful woven fabric with a tough rubberized housing around the edges. The carabiner is fully integrated into the enclosure so you can hook the speaker to bags, belt loops or handlebars without a separate clip.
Audio and connectivity: Equipped with Bluetooth 5.1, the speaker streams audio wirelessly from phones and tablets and supports hands-free calls via a noise- and echo-reducing speakerphone. Despite its compact driver, the Clip 4 delivers a broad frequency range with clear mids and a satisfying low end for its size.
Battery and runtime: A built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery provides up to around 10 hours of continuous playback depending on volume and content. Recharging is done through the rear USB-C port.
Durability and use: The speaker carries an IP67 rating, making it resistant to dust and capable of surviving immersion in water for short periods. The fabric and rubber exterior help absorb knocks and scuffs, so it’s suited to outdoor activities and everyday carry.
How to use it: Clip it to your pack or belt, set your device’s Bluetooth to discoverable, and tap play. Physical controls on the housing manage power, pairing and playback, and the carabiner design means you can suspend the unit for better dispersion when needed.

VerdictThe Clip 4 packs surprisingly full sound into a palm-sized, fabric-wrapped enclosure with a built-in carabiner for hands-free carrying. Bluetooth 5.1 keeps streams steady, the IP67 rating makes it splash- and dust-resistant, and the rechargeable battery delivers about a day-trip’s worth of playback. It’s ideal for commuting, hiking, or casual outdoor listening when you want a durable, easy-to-atta

Cute, portable and sounds good
Love the color and the sound quality for the size. My only gripe is that the battery can drain faster than I’d like at higher volumes.

Totally worth buying
One of my favorite recent purchases. Fast pairing, clear sound and responsive controls. It hangs easily from anything and puts out more volume than its size suggests.

Surprisingly punchy for its size
Good clarity from a compact driver. It’s very portable and the packaging was snug. The 5.1 label is a bit misleading, but overall I’m happy with the Clip 4 and other JBL gear I own.

Small unit, remarkable clarity
My go-to for warm-weather listening. Full, clear audio—my partner even mistakes it for a much larger speaker outdoors. Easy Bluetooth setup and sound improves when clipped up.

A real upgrade for on-the-go listening
Tiny speaker, impressive output. Sound is crisp with a balanced midrange and punchier bass than I expected. The clip stays secure on my backpack and Bluetooth 5.1 keeps the connection stable. Battery lasts through long outings.

Works flawlessly and is simple to hang anywhere. The look is nice and it’s very practical. I wish companion app support or continued updates were clearer.

Huge presence for such a small unit
I first heard JBL from friends and wanted a smaller option for daily use. This Clip model is perfect for clipping to my bag while biking or wandering the neighborhood. Solid volume and portability—very clever design.
