Product description
2-stage sharpener clearly labeled for straightforward operation
Coarse and fine ceramic grits for edge reshaping and finishing
Contoured ergonomic handle for a secure, comfortable grip
Integrated finger guard keeps hands safely away from the blade
Rubberized non-slip base holds the unit steady during use
The Henckels handheld sharpener is a compact pull-through tool designed to maintain the cutting edge of kitchen knives. The unit combines a coarse ceramic slot to re-establish a bevel and a fine ceramic slot to refine and polish the blade. Labeled slots guide the user through a two-step process: draw the blade through the coarse stage a few times to restore geometry, then run it through the fine stage to smooth and hone the edge. Wipe the blade after sharpening to remove any residue.
This sharpener is built for frequent home use. The molded handle is contoured to fit the hand and includes a safety grip to keep fingers away from the cutting surface. A rubberized base prevents slipping so the sharpener remains stable while you pull knives through the slots. Suitable for right- or left-handed users, it’s intended for standard straight-edged kitchen knives and is a convenient bedside tool to keep blades performing well between professional services. Henckels, founded in 1895 by Zwilling J.A. Henckels, produces kitchen essentials known for durability, functional design, and user-friendly performance — this sharpener continues that tradition.

Very pleased with the results
I picked this up for my new Victorinox and it’s great. Very simple to use — coarse first, then fine, wipe the blade and it’s ready. I cook a lot and now all my knives are sharp and safer to use.

Could use better instructions
Manual is minimal and the blade edge wasn’t as sharp as I hoped after a few passes.

Sturdy and practical for older knives
I bought this to care for my long-owned Cutco knives. It’s solid, easy to handle, and saves me trips to send blades out. Highly recommended!

Slot labeling confusing
Picture shows the coarse slot on the far right, but on mine the coarse is closest to the handle. Labeling is misleading.
